Welcome to Wilson's Technology Student Association(TSA) chapter website. TSA is a national organization aimed at students interested in technology. TSA gives students the oppurtunity to pursue academic challenges among their friends with similar goals and interests. Students in the TSA program will learn leaderships skills that will follow them to their professional lives.

The official TSA motto is "Learning To Live In A Technical World". TSA allows students to explore the rewarding aspects that technology offers. Student's in our program study engineering, computer aided design, architecture, graphic design, web design, and video production. All of these skills can be used later in life at the professional level. TSA is a building block for enriching the minds of young people, so that they may become more aware of their full potential.

Academic Performance Requirement: Students must maintain a "B" average in all Technology Education courses throughout the year. In addition, students who receive a failing grade in any one of the four marking periods are ineligible for TSA competitions. Students who have a failing grade on the day of a competition immediately become ineligible for the competition.

Personal Conduct Requirement: All Wilson Technology Student Association members are required to follow the Wilson Code of Conduct at all times. Any student who breaks this agreement or acts in a way that is unbecoming of the club and/or Wilson School District is suspect to immediate removal from TSA. According to the Code of Conduct, breaches of the Code will result in student discipline.

Wilson's TSA chapter is an exciting new academic club in its pilot year. We are always looking for new creative and intelligent minds to join our chapter.

Our TSA chapter takes part in Regional, State, and hopefully National competitions. If you are looking for an exciting and unique way to challenge your mind and your ability then stop by one of our club meetings.

If you have skills in Engineering, Graphic Design, Computer Programming, Video Production, Audio Production, Web Design, or Game Design then we definately are a club you will enjoy.

If you are interested in joining TSA, contact one of the club Officers or talk to Mr.Trickett, Mr. Dennes, or Mr. Fitzgerald.

The internet has evolved from a culmination of ideas to a living reality. Often times this evolution has been tedious and equivocal. Even before computers existed the human mind imagined the internet; a "place" where information escapes the confines of time, and transcends the bounds of human perception. For hundreds of years, men have yearned for a way to index the world's information, entertainment, speech, and thought. Only recently have these aspirations come to fruition. Behold, The Internet Then & Now.

Our TSA Chapter prides itself on its ability to research technological topics and discuss them in a way that is not only captivating, but also forward thinking. Enjoy this technological design brief on the history and future of the internet.
