Mr. Dennes is a 2004 Graduate of Manheim Central High School. During High School, Mr. Dennes was a member of the Football, Basketball, and Baseball teams, the National Honors Society, and the National Art Honors Society. He had the privilege of playing for the State Champion Manheim Central Barons football team as a senior in high school in 2003. During college, he was a lab assistant and tutor. Mr. Dennes graduated from Millersville University in 2008 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Technology Education. In the fall of 2010, Mr. Dennes received his Master's Degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology. He also serves as a Core Training Instructor for Project Lead the Way, specializing in Computer Integrated Manufacturing. In his spare time, Mr. Dennes enjoys playing the guitar and spending time with his family, especially at the beach.
Mr. Dennes is currently certified to teach the following Project Lead the Way classes: Gateway to Technology, Principles of Engineering, Introduction to Engineering Design, Computer Integrated Manufacturing, and Engineering Design and Development. He also serves as Wilson's delegate to Project Lead the Way. Specifically, Mr. Dennes oversees the design and prototyping lab at Wilson High School, and is a co-advisor for the Technology Student Association. The engineering experience, gained through Mr. Dennes’ classes, allows students to strengthen their skills in both a theory-based and hands-on environment. Mr. Dennes’ focus is to push his students to problem-solve and reach success through effort and high level thinking, and is most proud of his students for being able to take their ideas from a thought to a working technological design.
