Computer Integrated Manufacturing bridges the gap between concept and reality. Students learn to prototype their designs using highly sophisticated equipment and software. CIM students will learn to use the laser engraver, 3-axis CNC milling machine, 3-D printer, robotic arms, and more. Highlights of the course include creating an automated assembly line using VEX robotics equipment, creating the Yo-Yo using the laser engraver and milling machine, creating the F1 in Schools racercar using the laser engraver, 3-D printer, and milling machine, handshaking between the Scorbot robotic arm and VEX, and creating the advanced manufacturing project.

This course is currently taught by Mr. Dennes.
